CI HUB Connector: Use your THRON assets in Salesforce
Install the CI HUB Connector plugin to access all the contents of your THRON DAM directly within Salesforce, without ever interrupting your commercial and marketing workflow.
Prerequisites:
Active Salesforce account (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud or Marketing Cloud).
CI HUB Credentials: You need them to activate the connection with THRON. If you don't have them, request them from your Customer Success, your THRON Account or your internal Administrator.
THRON Credentials: These are the username and password you usually use to access THRON via browser.
Salesforce Permissions: Your profile must have the permissions to install AppExchange packages and access attached files.
Install the Plugin
You can install the CI HUB Connector on Salesforce via Salesforce AppExchange:
Log in to your Salesforce account and go to Salesforce AppExchange (http://appexchange.salesforce.com ).
Search for "CI HUB Connector" in the search bar and select the CI HUB Connector result.
Click on Get it now and choose whether to install for all users or only for administrators.
Complete the installation process and grant the required permissions.
Once installed, the CI HUB component will be available in the Salesforce sidebar.
Log in to CI HUB
Once you open the CI HUB panel in Salesforce, log in:
Open a Salesforce record (e.g. an Account, Opportunity or Campaign) and locate the CI HUB panel in the sidebar.
Click on the Login button in the CI HUB panel.
Enter your CI HUB ID (Email) in the form and click Next.
Once you have successfully logged in, return to the Salesforce record.
Connection to THRON
After logging in, connect your THRON account to the CI HUB panel:
In the CI HUB panel, click on the "+" button to add a new connection.
Type THRON in the search bar and click on the "+" button that appears next to the logo.
URL Configuration: In the THRON tenant URL field, enter only the name of your platform.
Enter your THRON credentials (username and password) and click on Login.
Once connected, you will see your THRON libraries directly in the CI HUB panel.
Browse and Search Assets
Navigate your THRON DAM directly from the CI HUB panel in Salesforce:
In the CI HUB panel, select the THRON connection you configured.
Navigate through your DAM folders or use the search bar to find assets by name, tag or metadata.
Click on an asset to view its preview and main metadata.
Filter results by file type, distribution channel or other custom attributes.
Attach an Asset to a Salesforce Record
To attach a THRON asset to a Salesforce record (Account, Opportunity, Campaign, etc.):
Open the Salesforce record to which you want to attach the file.
Select the desired asset in the CI HUB panel.
Click on the attachment button (paperclip icon or "Attach") to associate the file with the record.
The asset is saved in the Files section of the Salesforce record and remains linked to the original in the THRON DAM.
The asset's metadata (title, THRON ID, format) are maintained to ensure the traceability of the original asset.
