Configure the attributes of your Digital Assets
This guide allows you to transform your file library into an ecosystem of intelligent assets. By configuring the data model correctly, you will ensure that every image, video or document is easily trackable, properly classified and ready for automatic distribution on digital channels.
Fundamental Entities
- Attributes: The base unit of the Data Model. Each attribute defines a specific characteristic and contains configurations on how it is represented and managed.
- Locales: Enable multilingual management of your Digital Assets, allowing content to be adapted for different languages while maintaining structural consistency.
Let's get started
To proceed, make sure you are an Administrator
Create your first attribute
- Go to Platform Settings → Digital Assets → Attributes and click New Attribute.
- Choose the Type (consult the type table at the bottom if you have doubts).
- Enter the Code: it must be unique, without spaces and max 50 characters.
- Activate Localizable Value only if the data changes based on the language.
- Click Create Attribute.
Attribute presets
You may have already noticed that THRON automatically creates the first three attributes for you. Author (Short text), Description (Long text) and Title (Short text).
Manage options (Simple/Multi Select)
If you have chosen a single or multiple choice attribute, add the options that will be made available in the product sheet.
Each option has two distinct values:
- Code: internal technical identifier, cannot be modified after saving (e.g. doc_type)
- Label: the name visible to users in the platform. From the Label Translations section you can configure a label for each active language. If no translation is present, the code is shown.
From the "Label Translations" section you can configure a translated label for each option for each active language in the platform. Users will see the label in their own language — if available. In the absence of a translation, the option code will be shown.
Tip
- Quick entry: Click Bulk add options and paste your list separated by commas or line breaks.
- Limits: You can upload up to 100 options at a time. The system automatically discards duplicates.
📌 How to assign attributes to an asset? Once created, attributes are available in the tab of each asset. To find out who can fill them out and how, see → Fill out the attributes of an asset
Maintenance and Modifications
You can change the Labels and Guidelines at any time.
- Go to Platform Settings → Digital Assets → Attributes
- Choose the attribute you want to modify
- Make the changes
- THRON automatically saves changes
Warning: You cannot modify the Code, Type and the Localized flag after saving. If you made a mistake, you must delete the attribute and recreate it.

Keep the model lean: limit attributes to those necessary for identification, search and filters.
Below we give you some suggestions of attributes that you can create depending on your needs.

2. Technical Documentation
- Type (simple select) → specifies the type of document (user manual, certifications, …)
